Hello, class! I'm Kelsey and I will be your instructor for this course. My husband and I have been together for almost ten years and we love to go on adventures together! We currently live in Kansas, which is a nice centralized place to travel anywhere we want to go. My hobbies include reading, rescuing animals (especially the traditionally unloved ones - think rats and possums), and keeping my houseplants alive. I graduated from Arizona State University with a master's degree in psychology in 2023. I also have plans to start a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology within the next year. My love for this field began in an Introduction to Psychology course just like this one - so I am very passionate about what we are going to be covering this term!

My background is in mental health, working as a social worker for over five years at different non-profits. Mental health is so important! If you feel yourself needing some assistance dealing with class stressors, please reach out to me so we can discuss how I can help. If you're needing additional support, please reach out to Counseling Services at counseling@northeast.edu or (402) 844-7277. We are here to support you on your learning journey!

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you throughout this course!
