Welcome to Introduction of Psychology!  I am currently an adjunct faculty member for NECC and am a retired high school guidance counselor. I have been teaching dual credit psychology for more than 25 years. I received my bachelor's degree at UNL in Business & Computer Science Education. My Master's degree is from Wayne State College in Counseling Education. The high schools I previously taught at include: Spencer/Naper (3 years), Santee (5 years), Pierce High School (9 years) and I finished my career at my high school alma mater of Creighton Community Schools (14 years). In addition to teaching three sections of this class, I occasionally substitute teach at Creighton and am the back-up sitter for my seven grandchildren. My hobbies include reading, cooking (I love to entertain family & friends), traveling, glamping (camping in our 5th wheel), cheering on the Huskers, and exercising.

My husband of 30+ years, is a newly retired full-time mathematics instructor at NECC (he still teaches a couple of classes) and raises cattle. We have been blessed with three awesome sons & daughter-in-laws and seven wonderful grandchildren!
